Orlando's Resort Communities

If you’re a diehard Disney fan, you’ve probably heard of Club 33 – the exclusive, members-only restaurant at California’s Disneyland resort that was originally designed by Walt Disney.

Club 33 has now expanded to Walt Disney World®, in the form of four lounges – one in each theme park. Members enjoy special access and exceptional service, such as a private shuttle between parks, and a guide who serves as your walking FastPass with the tour.

The initial price to join, according to various theme park blogs, is around $30,000 with an annual membership fee of at least $10,000. Membership is by invitation only and includes:

  • Access to all four Walt Disney World Club 33 locations
  • Premier Passport for the member, spouse and children under age 26

When it comes to buying vacation homes in Orlando, there is a wide variety of properties and communities from which to choose. If you’re purchasing a home as an investment to rent out to holiday travelers, you might consider one of the resort communities such as Homestead at Reunion Resort.

Resorts are popular as short-term rentals because they provide vacationers with many of the same amenities they’d find at a world-class hotel, but for less money. And a home provides much more space for travelers, especially large families since everyone can have more privacy, and they can save money by taking advantage of a kitchen in which to cook their meals.

One way to entice short-term rental guests to your Orlando vacation home is to design rooms around a particular theme, such as Mickey Mouse or Harry Potter. Themed vacation homes help you stand out in a competitive vacation rental market.

If you’d like to buy a home to rent out to holiday visitors but don’t have the time or inclination to design theme-based rooms, you could purchase a home that has already done the work for you.  One Kissimmee home that Team Donovan currently has listed for purchase fits that bill perfectly.

This seven bedroom, four-and-a half bath home on Palm Harbour Drive features a Rock & Roll/Hollywood theme, with pictures, giant sculptures and more located throughout the home. For starters, the home features a unique Elvis…
