Top 5 Things to Do in Orlando this Fall

Did you miss taking a summer vacation this year? Not to worry. There are plenty of things to do in Orlando this fall. As an added bonus – the temperatures are milder, so it’s a great time to head to the area theme parks. Here are a few of the special events going on to help you plan your trip:

1. Epcot International Food & Wine Festival – This annual event celebrates the diversity of food and wine. Attendees can sample tasty offerings from celebrity chefs, watch live cooking demonstrations and listen to great music. Admission to Epcot is required for entry into the festival.

2. Brick or Treat at LEGOLand – Your little ones will get a treat out of these Halloween themed events including a LEGO Scary Scavenger Hunt in Miniland, Super brick build activities, a costume contest and photo opportunity with the world’s largest LEGO pumpkin.

3. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party – Another great Halloween event for children takes place at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World. The events include a "Boo-to-You Halerloween Parade" featuring Disney characters in Halloween costumes, a fireworks show featuring Disney villains and a chance to go trick-or-treating around the park with special lighting, music and themed effects.

4. Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights 25 – Teenagers and adults who love the pulse-pounding thrill of scary monsters won’t be disappointed at the nation’s premier Halloween event. Explore a variety of terrifying haunted houses, make your way through several scare zones where creepy creatures lurk around every turn, enjoy outrageous live shows and enjoy many of the park’s exciting rides and attractions.

5. SeaWorld's Halloween Spooktacular - Kids and adults get immersed in an underwater "fantasea" filled with trick-or-treating, dancing sea creatures and pumpkin fish. Children can also create sea-themed arts and crafts and along with Count von Count, Elmo and the gang at Sesame Street's Countdown to Halloween.
