Windsor Hills, a 5-star Orlando vacation home resort community, is adding dueling slides and a new children’s interactive water feature. The multi-million dollar pool enhancement project is designed to help the Kissimmee resort stay competitive with other communities in the area.
The pool enhancement project is focused on the north section of the pool deck and should be completed by the end of January, 2018. Windsor Hills will attempt to keep pool closures to a minimum during construction. Updated information on the project will be available in the Welcome Center.
The project includes the following enhancements:
1. The existing hot tub will be removed and replaced with a children’s interactive water feature.
2. A new spa/hot tub will be built in the location of the existing dancing waters. The new spa will be an oval shape, and about 10' by 15', which is a little larger than the current spa. It will be flush with the pool deck.
3. Dueling slides, consisting of 2 slides located side by side, will be installed with a run out vs. being dumped into the pool like the current slide. The dueling slides will be built between the interactive water feature and the pool entrance to Ventura.
Note: The floor will be a solid blue instead of the wavy multiple colored as shown in the drawings.
4. The Ventura pool entrance will be moved over about 20 feet east.
Windsor Hills Resort is the closest gated community to Walt Disney World™ and features a variety of single family / villa homes, townhomes, and condos that can be purchased for use as a second home, a long-term or short-term rental investment opportunity.
The community offers outstanding amenities to its residents and holiday visitors in addition to the pool, such as a cinema, gym, video arcade, putting green, basketball, tennis and volleyball courts. There’s even an on-site convenience store.
